Travel!
This is not just some random interjection…it's an imperative sentence with the implied subject "you". "You travel!!" You should.
I've heard it said that Americans are blissfully ignorant about the rest of the world. As an American, I would like to disagree with that statement, but I'm afraid I can't. I do understand why, though…The United States is a very large country with a wide variety of landscapes and entertainments, and it is very easy to enjoy a relatively convenient journey to another state to visit Disneyland, for example.
However, the attitude and culture of the American people doesn't change very much, even between states such as North Carolina and California. Oh, you think it does, and there are some subtle differences, but people who travel abroad know that this is not true. This is why Americans who travel abroad for the first time, seek each other out…for that familiarity.
Travel!
You will get encounter cultural experiences, see beautiful countries, and meet people that you will never forget. These are experiences that nobody can ever take away from you. You will also get a perspective about the world and about your own country that you won't find any other way.
